Return your used tins and earn rewards! Join us in our pledge to reduce waste and keep our packaging in circulation for as long as possible. It's as simple as 1, 2, 3...

 1. Click here to let us know that you're ready to return your Wax Melt Tins (minimum amount applies. See below). We'll get back to you within 3 working days with a postage label

2. Send your tins back to us within 5 days of receiving your label

3. Once we receive your tins and check that they're suitable for putting back into circulation we'll issue you MALA Reward Points (12 tins = 700 points = £7!) Save your points up or use them instantly towards free shipping or an order discount!

What's included in the Return Scheme?

This scheme is currently open for Wax Melt Tins (referred to as "Tins") only and excludes all other packaging. If you'd like to return Reed Diffuser Refill Bottles alongside Tins please do! However unfortunately at this time Reward Points are only available for Wax Melt Tins.

Is there a minimum amount?

Yes. Please return Tins in multiples of 12. 

How do the Reward Points work?

For every 12 Tins returned, 700 Reward Points (worth £7) will be issued to the email address/account used for your most recent online order. You must ensure that the email address used to register your Tin Return Request matches the email address from your most recent order (so that we can issue your Reward Points quickly and correctly).  To gain access to your points, you will need an account. An account is free, quick and easy and does not sign you up to newsletters or anything else; it's simply a way to store and access your Reward Points. 

Psst... you also earn Reward Points on every single order too! They very quickly build up!

How do I post to you?

Firstly, please ensure that parcels are within the Royal Mail Small Parcel size and weight guidelines (less than 45cm x 35cm x 16cm in size and up to 2kg in weight).

Tins must arrive back to us in perfect condition. Please ensure that you only return undamaged Tins and pack them safely enough to protect against any possible damage from transit. The best way to reasonably ensure a safe passage through the post system is in a cardboard box with padding (hint: why not save the packaging from your MALA orders?). Please be aware that tins will not survive being posted in padded bags.

We'd advise taking a photo of your tins/packaging before returning as proof that you have taken reasonable measures to ensure protection during transit.

Damaged tins will be deducted from the Reward Points total at 60 points per tin. Damages will be monitored to ensure that the Scheme is not exploited. Should we notice repeat damages (more than one occasion) we reserve the right to reject future Tin Return Requests.

Never shopped online with us and only shopped with a Stockist?

No problem, there's just a few more steps needed as this is a direct scheme exclusive to our website and MALA Stockists do not participate in the Tin Return Scheme. Should you wish to return Tins obtained through purchases with our Stockists, please follow the same process as above. If you'd like to earn Reward Points for returning your Tins, we require a full name and email address for your Reward Points to be credited towards. Your profile may take up to 24 hours to register. To redeem Reward Points you will need to create an account online with the same email address and a password. Don't worry; having an account does not automatically sign you up for any newsletters etc; it simply allows you to access your Reward Points which are redeemable against any future online orders placed directly with us on our website.
